KC Club at Alkali Creek is dedicated to serving our school and our community through various projects.  We will meet every other week on the second and fourth Tuesday after school from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  We are trying Tuesdays this year, hoping we can include more students.  We know schedules can be busy.  We hope students can come for as long as possible should they have other activities.
We meet in the school library or in Mrs. Wilson's classroom.  Students are asked to have ride arrangements made for days we meet.  Notes and permission slips will come home to let you know about special events and projects we are involved in.  Our schedule for meetings and events will be posted on this site under the Home Tab at the top left of this page under KC Club Calendar.  We also have an information board near the front entry hall by the office.  We will post information there as well!  We look forward working with our fourth through sixth grade students.  Please feel free to contact Mrs. Harper or Mrs. Wilson should you have any questions!  You can call the school or you can reach us at our e-mails listed here:

Here is a great lesson about true friendship and thinking of someone else!  Way to include others!  Middle School Students make the day for a fellow classmate!

"I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness can go." Rachel Joy Scott

Kindness and compassion are lived and taught through example and opportunity.  Each person matters.  Each person is cared about.  Inside each of us, we have the capacity to make a difference with our ideas, words, actions and how we live each day.  Our Club will strive to create a safe environment for all students in all grades.  We will strive to be proactive in learning and practicing kindness and compassion through our manners, problem solving skills, and actions.  Ultimately, we desire to build an understanding for healthy friendships,  positive strategies for dealing with bullying and to empower and inspire students to make a difference through their words and actions.
